Password Generator

The password generator uses the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) to create cryptographically secure random passwords directly in your browser. You can customize the length and choose which character types to include — uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Yes. All passwords are generated entirely in your browser using cryptographically secure randomness. No passwords are ever sent to a server, stored, or logged. Your passwords remain completely private on your device.

A strong password is at least 12–16 characters long and includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols. The longer and more diverse the characters, the harder it is to crack. Our strength meter helps you gauge password quality in real time.

We recommend at least 16 characters for most accounts. For high-security accounts like banking or email, consider 20+ characters. Our tool supports passwords up to 64 characters long.

You can click "Generate New Password" as many times as you need. Each previously generated password is saved in the Recent Passwords history (up to 10), so you can easily copy any of them.

The crack time estimate shows how long it would theoretically take a modern computer (performing 10 billion guesses per second) to brute-force your password. Longer passwords with more character types take exponentially longer to crack.
